As a lifelong athlete and sports fan, Dr. David Zhu understands firsthand the impact of injuries. As an Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Specialist, he can help educate and guide patients throughout the course of their treatment and recovery. “My goal is to develop a relationship with patients in order to understand their goals and expectations, then work with them to create a plan that can best help them achieve those goals,” said Dr. Zhu. “As an engineer, I want to provide my patients with the most effective, innovative, and efficient treatments and techniques to help them overcome their injuries.”
You can expect Dr. Zhu to be on your team throughout the entire process, from injury, to treatment to recovery. Dr. Zhu believes in creating a personalized plan to help patients return to the things they want to do. “If an injury can be treated without surgery, we will explore all the non-surgical options available to us; if surgery is required, we will decide on the safest, most effective procedure which will help us achieve our goals,” said Dr. Zhu.
